CPR Certification: In partnership with Heart Savers, the FRC will offer a 3 hour CPR certification class for interested parents, caregivers, educators, and other community members. The class includes both discussion and interactive activities. Dress comfortably for an engaging learning session.

Positive Parenting: Thursday, Jan. 23rd @ Sky View 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program ® is a parenting and family support system designed to help children to realize their potential.Triple P fits the needs of every family, whether they are struggling with temper tantrums or sleeping patterns, parents in conflict with their child or with each other, or have children with additional needs, including those struggling with their mental health. Triple P programs draw on social learning, cognitive behavioral and developmental theory, in addition to research into risk factors associated with the development of social and behavioral problems in children. We equip parents with the skills and confidence they need to be able to manage any family issue. Join us for an informal presentation and Q&A session given by FRC staff that are Triple P Accredited. The class is appropriate for parents of children ages birth through elementary ages. All participants will receive tip sheets to take home that include all concepts covered in class. Limited on-site child care will be provided for children ages 0-5 only. Please indicate if you will need child care in the "comments" section when registering. Thank you.
