The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

CPR/1st Aid Certification for Preschool Staff
First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.
Kindergarten Early Entrant Test Request. Child must reach the age of 5 between 9/1 and 10/31 to be eligible for testing. November and December birth dates will NOT be tested, there are no exceptions.
Each day, your child will spend time becoming familiar with the Kindergarten classroom setting and practicing classroom routines. Students will visit different areas of the campus like the library, cafeteria and playground. Students will receive a daily snack and socialize with other students to help alleviate any anxiety they might experience on their first day of school.
Note: There is no nurse on site during Kinder Camp. Medicines will not be kept or administered.
