The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

CPR/1st Aid Certification for Preschool Staff
First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.

Kindergarten Early Entrant Test Request. Child must reach the age of 5 between 9/1 and 10/31 to be eligible for testing. November and December birth dates will NOT be tested, there are no exceptions.
Get Ready for Kinder/PreK Night: Wednesday, April 15th @ Sky View 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Join us at the FRC to learn about what to expect in Pre-K and Kindergarten. We will have experts from the district to answer your questions, and you will be able to tour a pre-k and Kindergarten room. Limited childcare will be provided on-site.
