The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

CPR/1st Aid Certification for Preschool Staff
First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.

On My Way to K! (Kindergarten) at Sunset Heights: Join us for a FREE 6-session Pre-k/K prep class that offers children an opportunity to learn school-ready skills in a safe, nurturing environment with their parent/ caregiver. Children will learn about the daily routine for pre-k including circle-time, calendar, learning activities, centers, and play. Participants commit to attending all days: 6/23, 6/25, 6/30, 7/2, 7/7, 7/9 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
