The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.

Raising a Reader: Five-Week Series Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21st @ Alta Loma. Registrants must commit to all five weeks.
Raising a Reader supports families to build, practice and grow reading routines at home with family engagement at the core of the program.Raising A Reader award-winning, evidence-based programs help caring adults set their children up for success by creating shared reading routines, fostering social emotional learning, healthy family relationships and learning skills needed to thrive in school and beyond. Each week you will explore new reading strategies and activities, and check out a bag of books to read and share.
Ages: 3-5 Duration: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks in a row
