The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

CPR/1st Aid Certification for Preschool Staff
First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.

Kindergarten Early Entrant Test Request. Child must reach the age of 5 between 9/1 and 10/31 to be eligible for testing. November and December birth dates will NOT be tested, there are no exceptions.
Coffee & Connections –New Year, Good Habits: Thursday, Jan. 16th @ Sky View 10-11 a.m. Join us for Coffee and Connections, a warm and welcoming space for parents to come together, enjoy a cup of coffee, and discuss the joys and challenges of parenting. This month’s class will focus on tools (such as sticker charts, visuals, etc.) to establish/enhance your child’s routines and build good habits. This class offers a supportive environment where you can share experiences, gain insights, and connect with other parents navigating similar journeys. This class is for parents and other caregivers - limited childcare is provided. Please indicate if you need childcare in the “comments” section when registering. Duration: 1 hour
