Parent Advisory Committee: Wednesday, Sept. 3rd at Sky View at 4:00 p.m.. Our Parent Advisory Committee is a group of parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community members, who come together to provide input on designing programs and services to meet the needs of the families in the community. We meet the first Wednesday of every month, at Sky View, alternating morning and evening meetings. Coffee and Connections: Home Organizing Wednesday, Sept. 17th @ Sky View (Please see under Parent Support and Connections in Eleyo) Join us for Coffee and Connections, a warm and welcoming space for parents to come together, enjoy a cup of coffee, and discuss the joys and challenges of parenting. The theme for this class will be home organizing with guest presenter Rachel Winter from Happy Home Organizers, a professional organizing company based in Peoria. Rachel has been providing this class for several years and will provide many useful tips on “Conquering the Clutter.” This class offers a supportive environment where you can share experiences, gain insights, and connect with other parents navigating similar journeys. Whether you’re seeking advice, looking to build new friendships, or simply need a break, Coffee and Connections provides the perfect blend of community and support.
