The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

CPR/1st Aid Certification for Preschool Staff
First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.

Kindergarten Early Entrant Test Request. Child must reach the age of 5 between 9/1 and 10/31 to be eligible for testing. November and December birth dates will NOT be tested, there are no exceptions.
Musicology: three session series beginning Wednesday, January 14th through Wednesday, January 28th. Participants must commit to all three sessions. Classes will be held at Alta Loma from 10-11 a.m.
In a fun and engaging atmosphere, children will explore musical instruments, creative movement, dancing and singing. They will be exposed to beats and rhythms spanning different eras and various parts of the world. This engaging, all-ages class promotes language, rhythm, motor skills, self-esteem, creativity, and joy!
