The Peoria Unified Family Resource Center provides free activities, resources, and information to families in the community.
The Peoria Unified School District is proud to offer the KidZone program, our innovative before and after school care program. Through this program, K-8 students are able to learn and interact in a safe, caring environment.
Kinder Camp will be held July 20-23, 2020, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Students must be 5 years-old by August 31, 2020, and enrolled for Kindergarten in one of Peoria Unified’s 34 elementary schools.
The Early Childhood Center for Excellence in Learning (ECCEL) Preschool Program provides programming that meets the needs of the whole child - socially, academically and emotionally - to prepare them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.

CPR/1st Aid Certification for Preschool Staff
First Grade Early Entrance Test Request. Child must reach the age of 6 between 9/1 and 12/31 to be eligible for testing, there are no exceptions.

Halloween Trick or Stretch Yoga: Thursday, Oct. 30th @ Rio Vista Recreation Center 10-11 a.m.
Trick or Stretch Yoga invites children and parents to move, stretch, and play in a Halloween-themed yoga class! Through fun poses like “black cat,” “ghost float,” and “pumpkin twist,” children will develop balance, flexibility, and body awareness while pretending to be their favorite spooky characters. This energetic session encourages imaginative movement, social interaction, and a joyful introduction to mindfulness—all in a festive and supportive environment.
